In May 2016, Microsoft announced the sale of the Nokia-branded phone division to FIH Mobile, Foxconn, and HMD Global. These will be working together, along with Nokia Technologies, to create Nokia-branded devices.Nokia will be providing brand and patent licensing to HMD.

Nokia 6

HMD Global announced the first Nokia smartphone, called the Nokia 6. The smartphone also marks the re-entry of the brand in the industry.Nokia has partnered with HMD Global for the Nokia 6 launch, however there’s bad news for any European customers looking to get their hands on the new device Because right now it is launched in only China. HMD Global, which will now sell and market Nokia-branded smartphones, has further indicated that the Nokia 6 won’t be the only device releasing this year. The company notes in its press release that more Nokia-branded Android smartphones will be released in H1 2017.HMD Global is being said to launch at least five smartphone in 2017. Two of them is Nokia 8 and Nokia EDGE 2017.

The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor ordinated with 64-bit Architecture with Four cores clocked at 1.2GHz Cortex A53 and the other Four clocked at 1.5GHz Cortex A53 and along with a generous 4GB LPDDR3 of RAM, makes the Nokia one of the most capable performers available. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the home button and aluminum alloy unibody design like other smartphone technology. The company had to compensate with a larger,  3000 mAh built-in battery. It's also much more efficient and could make General performance is speedy.In the real world usage it may be different.The Nokia 6 comes in Black color, is priced at 1699 yuan (US$ 245 / Rs.16,740 approx.) and will be available exclusively from JD.com in the first half of 2017 in China and is also exclusive to China.
