In May 2016, Microsoft announced the sale of the Nokia-branded phone division to FIH Mobile, Foxconn, and HMD Global. These will be working together, along with Nokia Technologies, to create Nokia-branded devices.Nokia will be providing brand and patent licensing to HMD.

Once upon a time, Nokia was the king of all phones. Everywhere was only Nokia. Those were also very long lasting. Nokia, One of the top mobile phone manufacturer in past (6 years) is back again with something new for the world. Nokia is launching 5 New Android smartphones in the current year 2017 In which the Nokia 6 is launched And Nokia 8 is in line. All the Nokia phones will run on Android operating system. The names are not yet to be announced officially by the company. According to the rumors, the name of Nokia upcoming phone in 2017 is NOKIA EDGE 2017.Nokia EDGE 2017 has some great features and specifications by which it can compete with Apple iPhone, Samsung S7 and Google Pixel phones.The big thing is it’ll come with a EDGE display and some great features to take a large place in the market. Nokia EDGE 2017 will come with some jaw dropping feature. It has specialy a EDGE display, Best Camera Quality and very very very smart interface & look.Nokia hasn’t provided any information about the release date of this phone. But according to various websites and rumors, we can guess that it may be released in the earlier of 2017. May be in April.

Nokia EDGE 2017 has a IPS LCD display of 5.5 inches with a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Pixel densilty of the display is 401 ppi which is really great. The EDGE display will be of 2K (extremely high resolution). It will be on the top of the phone. Users will be able to see various notification on this secondary screen. Speaker volumes are also controllable using this EDGE screen. It will give a different look to the phone.It has a fingerprint scanner in it’s back below the primary camera. This time, Nokia has included a great security feature in this phone.

The phone will come with a mind blowing camera of 23 MegaPixel. There will be a Carl Zeiss Lens in it’s camera like previous Nokia phones which will help to get better quality pictures and HD video.  Nokia Edge has a 8 Megapixel selfie camera which is also very cool. Front camera will be also in high resolution. Primary camera will come with various great camera features like Auto focus, Touch focus, Geo Tagging, Panoroma Mode and Face Detection. Picture quality will be also remain in pictures clicked in low light. But there may be no flash in back camera.Nokia Edge has a great internal memory of 32GB/64GB  And it has a MicroSD card slot. So the storage is expandable upto 256GB by inserting a MicroSD card.

It will be very thin and fit perfect in your hand giving you a good touching experience.The phone will have a fingerprint scanner on the back panel. It will come with some other sensors like accelerometer, proximity, compass, and gyro for better user control. The phone will come preloaded with Google apps like Chrome, Gmail etc. There are no words about the VR and AR capabilities of the phone as well. It will be interesting to see if Nokia decides to add VR to this model or not. Nokia is known for good quality speakers as well. The users will hope one of the best audio outputs from the phone.

The phone is comes with single nano Sim for make calls, data browsing and much more. The phone has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/n connectivity and GPS (Global Positioning System). The other connectivity options are GPRS, EDGE and Radio, LTE. A 3600 mAh Litium-ion battery will give power to this phone.It has a USB C-Type 1.0 reversible connector to connect it with the charger and your personal computer (PC).

As of now, Nokia has not confirmed the release date of the phone. Still, the rumors suggest that the phone will be announced sometime in Feb 2017 and will be made available in the market in March 2017. The overall specifications of the Nokia Edge 2017 look promising. If Nokia pulls the specifications as per the rumors, it will definitely bring back the charm the brand name has lost in the last 5 years. The phone may hit the market in March 2017 and it will compete with Samsung, Apple and LG phones.
