About LG
LG Corporation, formerly Lucky-Goldstar, is a South Korean multinational conglomerate corporation. It is the fourth-largest chaebol in South Korea. It is headquartered in the LG Twin Towers building in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. LG makes electronics, chemicals, and telecom products and operates subsidiaries such as LG Electronics, Zenith, LG Display, LG Uplus and LG Chem in over 80 countries. In 1958, LG Electronics was founded as GoldStar. It was established in the aftermath of the Korean War to provide the rebuilding nation with domestically-produced consumer electronics and home appliances.LG comprises four business units: Home Entertainment, Mobile Communications, Home Appliance & Air Solution, and Vehicle Components, with Starion India, as its main production vendor for refrigeration and washing machines in Indian sub-continent.In 2011, LG Electronics was the world's second-largest television manufacturer.LG Electronics plays a large role in the global consumer electronics industry. LG launched the LG Chocolate mobile phone in 2005 and is the second-largest LCD TV manufacturer worldwide as of 2013. By 2005, LG was a Top 100 global brand.LG Electronics manufactures a wide range of smartphones and tablet devices.LG G5
There's a dual-camera setup at the back, along with the laser autofocus window, flash and colour sensor.LG's made some pretty great smartphone cameras in the past, but the G5 goes one step further by having two sensors instead of one. One is a large 16-megapixel sensor, and the other is a wide-angle 135 degree 8-megapixel sensor. The rear cameras can shoot up to 2160p 30fps video. There's also a slow motion mode for the rear camera, which bumps up the frame rate to 60fps at full-HD resolution. Other features include optical image stabilisation, laser autofocus, and a colour spectrum sensor. With the wide angle sensor enabled, which is activated with a simple tap of the triple tree icon at the top of the camera app's UI, it’s surprising just how much more you can fit in the frame. You not only get a lot more height and width, making it a great fit for wide-sweeping landscapes and large crowds of people. It works with third-party apps like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram too, as you can simply use the in-app toggle button to cycle through the G5's three different sensors (standard, wide and front). There's also an 8-megapixel front camera. the front one can shoot video at up to 1080p at 30fps.
LG G5 has 5.3-inch, IPS LCD, quad-HD display with always-on mode with an impressive 554ppi pixel density. As a result, it's incredibly sharp, and an absolute pleasure to view pictures, videos, games or websites on. Colours are also detailed and vibrant, thanks to a high contrast ratio that ensures decent colour accuracy, particularly helped along by the incredible black levels. The front of the phone is 70 percent screen, and has some distinct features that help it stand out. The glass at the top of the front curves back slightly.LG says it will only drain 0.8% of the phone's battery every hour, too, so it shouldn't have too much of an impact on battery life over the course of the day. You can't interact with the always-on display, and it will only serve as a visual indicator of the time and your unseen notifications.
There's also Dual SIM and Micro SD slot, but it's hybrid, which means that you have to choose between a second SIM and extra storage space. It Support Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, and 4G connectivity on both TDD Band 40 and FDD Band 3. You get USB 3.0 with a Type-C connector, Also included is support for USB-on-the-go, along with various sensors including a compass, barometer and colour spectrum sensor. On the audio front, there's Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, along with support for A2DP and aptX HD.There's a useful screen called Smart Bulletin, which can be activated through the Settings app. This gives quick access directly from the home screen to the calendar, health tracker, Quick Remote app, and more. You can also download additional apps to use with this feature.
