On August 2010, Xiaomi officially launched its first Android-based firmware MIUI. Redmi phones use the Xiaomi MIUI operating system, a variant of Android.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is powered by the MediaTek Helio X20 chipset For China Region. It's a pretty impressive chipset, it and the X25 version are used in several affordable high-end phones. The Redmi Note 4 keeps Deca Core 2.1 GHz CPU, In which the two powerful Cortex-A72 cores (but clocks them higher), the four mid-range Cortex-A53 cores and adds another block of four A53 cores for low-power use that brings massive improvements to single-core performance. It is embedded with Mali-T880 MP4 at 700MHz Powerfull GPU for Extended Usage. In MediaTek Chipset of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 The Installed Version Of MIUI is 7.0, But later it is upgradeble to MIUI 8. Here The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes with Two edition as per user interest and Usage. One is STANDARD Edition include 3 GB of RAM with 32 GB of internal storageand second one is High Edition include 3 GB of RAM with 64 GB of internal storage. The processor offers good enough grunt for most apps and games. It does stutter sometimes when multitasking and the culprit is most often the lack of available RAM.In this type of varient FM radio is not available.
The Note 4 sports a beautiful 5.5-inch IPS LCD screen display panel with 1920x1080 resolution for a density of 401 ppi. The 2.5D arc glass accentuates the display. It's vivid with great viewing angles and the 72% coverage of NTSC colors and Constract are perfect. The colors themselves are fairly accurate by default with an average delta E of 5.3 and a maximum of 9.8.Outdoors in sunlight, the display is a tad dim, and I preferred to keep it at maximum brightness than what was set automatically. Still it's crisp and consistent from different viewing angles.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a 13MP main camera with an f/2.0 aperture, have phase detection autofocus and dual-LED, dual-tone flash and top out at 1080p video. It does manage to click some nice photos with a decent depth of field effect, but the color reproduction and saturation is not the best. In not exceptionally bright conditions, like indoors or on a gloomy day, the photos are just okay. The selfie camera has a 5MP sensor and f/2.0 aperture, but the top video resolution it supports is 720p.has good color rendering. The dynamic range could be an issue, though it's not very wide and there's no HDR mode for selfies. The camera interface on the MIUI 8 is slick and offers a variety of options with seamless user experience.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4's Diametion is 151x76x8.4mm the new Note 4 is roughly the same size as the Redmi Note 3.but much has changed. The design is significantly more attractive, now with a full metal With an aluminum ingot build that feels much less cheap. This more difficult process allows Xiaomi finer control over the structure and finish of the metal body. Fingerprint unlock Sensor is available, the sensor is below the camera. The sensor is always on, you just need to put your finger on it .The antenna lines were made with nano-injection molding, which streamlines the look of the phone but more importantly optimizes the performance of the antennas.Something else gone from the rear is the speaker grille, and you’ll now find two rows of six drilled holes on the phone’s bottom edge, one either side of the now centrally mounted Micro-USB port.it looks nicer, and sound is less likely to be muffled, but there’s still just a mono speaker lying below. On the top edge the headphone jack, IR blaster and mic have also switched places.
The Note 4 includes a hybrid SIM slot, so There Is dual SIM functionality But you have to from SIM or Storage. You need a SIM ejector to open it and pull out the two-card tray. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is a dual-SIM phone, but it can work without any SIMs too. Here is the Mi SIM is like a virtual embedded SIM, allowing you to connect to mobile data without an actual card. You need to purchase credit for it, but it works even when roaming - something that can come handy if you travel a lot.Anyway, you can dial out with either SIM and VoLTE is supported. There's also Mi Voice a Xiaomi-run VoIP service that calls numbers over the Internet. One of the biggest disappointments of the Note 4 is Xiaomi opting to put in a Micro-USB port instead of the newer USB Type-C. you get fast Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac on 2.4GHz and 5GHz, Wi-Fi screen sharing is available too, also Bluetooth 4.2 but no NFC.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes with the feature-rich MIUI Browser.the browser supports some very handy features as scrolling with the volume keys, quick tab switching from the edge of the display, you can opt for different search engines, among others.Explorer is a great file managing app.The Clean-up option seeks to recover wasted space and you can even do a "Deep Clean".The MIUI v8 also offers a Security app. It can scan your phone for malware, manage your blocklist, manage or restrict your data usage, configure battery behavior, clean some RAM, it can also manage the permissions of your installed apps. The Mi Remote app is fun for the whole family - literally, it can share remotes you've set up with people on your home Wi-Fi network. The app can control TVs, ACs, set top boxes and even DSLRs. MIUI even has its own voice-controlled assistant, which does a good job of speech recognition for eastern languages. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes with a custom Gallery app shows all images and videos on the phone. The music player is like a MIUI version of Google Play Music.aturally, it plays offline music just fine too.
One of the highlights of the Redmi Note 4 is its superb battery life. Of course, it packs in a big battery at 4100mAh, but there's also enough power optimizations under the hood that makes it last long.the Note 4 does include MediaTek PumpExpress 2.0 technology for fast charging. On moderate usage, you could stretch the battery life up to about two working days.
The Redmi Note 4 is a pretty good smartphone for its price, Otherwise, the Note 4 is a winner all the way. The fingerprint sensor works great, and unlocks the phone in a quick snap each time. There's also an IR port on the phone so that you can use it as a universal remote controller. There's a notification LED, but it is fairly small and not that bright.. It's a capable performer and a decent snapper, but there's nothing exceptional about it.the display is impressive, the chipset stood its own against some flagships.
